**Reception Volunteer – Hostel Auikyani, Cozumel, Mexico** Join our friendly and social hostel team in beautiful Cozumel! We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers who enjoy meeting travelers from around the world, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and helping guests have an unforgettable island experience. As a Reception Volunteer, you'll be one of the first faces guests meet when they arrive. You'll help ensure smooth daily operations while sharing local tips, building connections with travelers, and contributing to the positive community vibe that makes Hostel Auikyani special. ### Responsibilities * Welcome guests and assist with check-ins and check-outs * Process payments and manage guest registrations in our internal system * Provide local recommendations, travel tips, and information about Cozumel * Create a friendly and social environment by connecting with guests * Answer questions and assist guests throughout their stay * Keep the reception area and workspace clean, organized, and presentable * Work closely with fellow volunteers from different countries and backgrounds * Support the team with general hostel operations when needed ### What We're Looking For * Friendly, outgoing, and positive attitude * Good communication skills in English (Spanish is a plus) * Responsible, organized, and reliable * Comfortable working with people from diverse cultures * Basic computer skills and willingness to learn our systems * Team player who enjoys community living and hostel life ### What You'll Experience * Live and work in a vibrant international hostel environment * Meet travelers and volunteers from all over the world * Discover the beauty of Cozumel and its unique island culture * Gain experience in hospitality, customer service, and tourism * Become part of a supportive and fun community If you love travel, enjoy meeting new people, and want to be part of an unforgettable hostel experience, we'd love to welcome you to the Hostel Auikyani family! 🌴☀️🏝️
