Storytelling & Documentary Volunteer – Exploring Spiritual India in Varanasi

Tribe Sutra Backpackers is a small hostel and creative space in Varanasi near the ghats. I am working on a long-term storytelling project exploring Indian spirituality, rituals, local traditions, and ancient stories of gods and temples. I am looking for volunteers who enjoy writing, brainstorming ideas, storytelling, research, or filmmaking. The goal is to work together to develop stories, scripts, and short documentary ideas based on real experiences in Varanasi. You might help with: • Brainstorming story ideas • Writing or structuring narratives • Script development for short documentaries • Researching local myths, temples, and rituals • Recording or documenting experiences around the ghats and old city This is a creative collaboration, not a strict job. If you enjoy philosophy, spirituality, culture, or storytelling, you’ll likely enjoy this experience.
